Only 9 days left to contest your property assessment with your municipality!

Considering the exceptional circumstances caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, several organizations and professional orders working in real estate, such as the Institut du Développement Urbain du Québec (IDU) and the Order of approved assessors of Quebec (OEAQ), asked the Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing, Mrs. Andrée Leforest, to extend the deadline of April 30th, 2020 to submit requests for revision of the municipal assessment for the 2020-2021-2022 triennial roles.
Although an extension of sixty (60) days after the lifting of containment measures has been proposed to the government, this request remains unanswered as of the date of this publication. Thus, the deadline for requesting a review of the property assessment entered in the 2020-2021-2022 triennial roll remains on April 30, 2020.
